Hi I'm Ricardo

I’m Ricardo Ibañez. I’m an entertainer, a dance instructor, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I’m Ricardo. I’m an entertainer. I work in tourism entertaining. I’m a tour guide, I teach dance classes. I like to walk, to laugh, to dance, to read, to ponder, to go out with my wife to take a walk and to talk. I love nature. I like good movies, and above all I like to live.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I feel that this Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is Christ’s Church upon the earth. To be a Mormon is to be happy.

How I live my faith

I became acquainted with the Church when I was 12 years old, through my older siblings, who introduced me to the missionaries. They taught me the Gospel and asked me to pray to know if what they were teaching me was true, and I prayed, and at the age of 12, I came to know that the message was true, that the Book of Mormon was the word of God, and I decided to get baptized. It has been very special all through these years in the Church. I participated in Seminary, in Institute, which are programs for the young people where the Gospel is taught. I was also a missionary, in the lovely country of Bolivia. I have had various assignments and callings in the Church; one of the ones I have liked best is to serve with the young people like myself in the Church. Through the Gospel, I have seen how my life has improved and changed. I have also seen the change in many people as they apply the true principles that comprise it. I feel very close to God and His Son Jesus Christ. I love them, and I am sure that They also love me. I have a testimony of this Gospel, and I know with all my heart that it is true, that Jesus Christ is a real being, resurrected and immortal. I love this Gospel and its teachings.

What is faith?

Ricardo
Faith is confidence in someone or something, and in regard to the Gospel, it is the confidence that we place in Jesus Christ, which leads us or compels us to believe in Him and obey Him. It is always based on the truth. Faith is a marvelous gift which leads us to have hope and charity, which is the pure love of Christ. Faith motivates us to act, compels us to live in accordance with the teachings of Christ, and furthermore, it provides us the capacity to be happy in this life and to keep a perspective aimed at eternity.
