Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a married college student. I love to play sports and eat Cuban food. AND I'M A MORMON!

About Me

I am from Utah, and have also lived in Texas and Florida. I served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Miami, FL. In high school I played as many sports as I could, and now I try to watch as many as I can! I am a college student with an amazing life, despite the ups and downs. I love to have a good laugh every now and then, and that usually comes as I quote and remember my favorite movies! But most importantly, I am very religious, and believe in God above ALL other things.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Mormon Church. And many people believe, that for that reason, I am a Mormon simply because of tradition. But I am a Mormon because of the experiences I've had with God and religion in my life. Through many struggles and hard times in my life, I have come to really depend on God, because there was no other way I would have made it. As a Mormon, I have received all the knowledge, teachings, support, and inspiration that I have needed in order to live an amazingly happy and fulfilling life. I have not seen the possibility of fulfillment with any other church I have seen or heard of. I love my life, and I love Christ, and know that He guides each of us in our lives when we accept and follow Him. And that is why I grew up a Mormon, and still am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to make it who I am. I live my faith by every day doing my best to do things "that Jesus would do", and by trying to constantly fill my life with spiritual things. I live my faith by looking for opportunities to share my faith and knowledge with other people. I did that full-time for two years as a missionary, and now I constantly try to look for opportunities to share my faith with those who don't yet know Christ, or those that want to come closer to Him. I also live my faith by service in the church. I will occasionally speak to the congregation, and do other things that are asked of me. I also go at least once a month and visit members of the congregation to see how they are doing and to share spiritual messages with them.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Taylor
We know that God has always shown His love for His children by revealing His Gospel, or in other words the instructions needed in order to know what God expects of us and how we can truly be happy in this life. God reveals His Gospel through prophets, as we see in the Bible with prophets such as Moses, Abraham, and many others. We also believe that God will not ever change, and that He will always love His children and want the best for them. Because of this, God has once again called prophets to reveal and clarify His Gospel and doctrine, and to lead His saints in these last days. The prophets are proof that God loves His children and that He does not want us to live in confusion, but rather that we can have the light and knowledge of all truth in these days as well as in the times of old.
