Hi I'm Lee

I'm a father, I'm a doctor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lee, I am married and the father of four children ranging in age from eight to six months. I am a resident physician training to become a surgeon. My family and I have moved from our home in Arizona to the midwest to go to medical school and residency. I am an active person and consider myself an athlete although I usually have very little time to do athletic things with life being so busy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my great-great grandfather helped translate the Book of Mormon from English to Spanish. He had heard about the church during his travels in the Spanish navy and sought an opportunity to visit Salt Lake City in the 1880s. He was baptized and by so doing disowned by his family in Spain. He helped settle parts of Arizona and served missions to Mexico. I served a mission in Spain and met some of my long lost relatives there. My testimony of the gospel was strengthened by this opportunity to share that God speaks to a prophet on earth today. Christ is the head of our church and he has choses a prophet and 12 apostles that receive revelation to guide us today. We also have the gift of personal revelation given to us today, God will answer our prayers in a very real way. Most importantly, I know that Jesus Christ suffered for the sins, pains, and heartaches of all mankind, and resurrected the third day. He made it possible for everyone to receive forgiveness for their sins, happiness in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

I have the unique opportunity to help people on a daily basis with issues that are affecting their health. My ways, of course, are not the Lord's ways but by doing my part I am helping to serve my fellow man. I try to love my neighbor in this way. Service for the pure joy of doing it is my most favorite activity.
