Hi I'm Stacy

I grew up in Utah. I now live in Arizona. I'm a mother of two amazing daughters. I'm a nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up a non member in Utah (yes there are many non members in Utah). I was baptized when I was 16 because of amazing friends that loved me even if I wasn't Mormon. I moved to Arizona and married at 19, had 2 amazing girls and one boy that we lost at birth. When my girls were in school full time so was I, I graduated with my nursing degree in 2009. Sadly my marriage ended but I am blessed in so many other ways in my life. I now work as a nurse, am raising my almost grow daughters, and have 2 very cute dogs, I am very blessed that I have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up around the church but not part of it. I was very familiar with church practices and had a lot of friends that were members of the church. I was pretty happy with it like that in my life, but I guess when becoming a teenager I started to question many things in life and do to friends in the past offering to take me to church with them I knew I could go with them anytime. so when I felt I needed answers in life I asked if I could go to church with them. Of course they were excited! I was 14 then, started taking the discussions and wanted to become a member, my family and some of my friends where not happy with that choice. About 1 year later my parents gave permission saying that I could be baptized, they did not come to my baptism and I did lose some friendships over it, but I have never regretted that choice! I know that Jesus Christ lives! I know that God loves me and that I am his daughter! I know that God knows me and has a plan for me to return to live with him again. Life gets hard and sometimes we question why things happen the way they do but I am very thankful that I have the Holy Ghost telling me each day that God and Jesus Christ love me and if I follow Gods commandment that I can live with him again in happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in my nursing practice. I look at each one of my patients as Gods children and do my best to treat them with honor and respect. I love being able to serve out in the community there are so many amazing people that I meet though out my day. I also serve in my church I go and visit sisters just to check up on them creating great friendships in the process. I also get to go out with the missionaries and teach people that are looking for answers to life's questions. It is an amazing experience to see the knowledge of Gods plan come into peoples lives. I also help organize activities for the sisters on a monthly bases. I do my best to teach my daughters the Gospel of Jesus Christ and know that it will benefit them and future generations.
