Hi I'm Joel

I'm a family man, I'm a world traveler, I'm a Medical Evacuation Pilot, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First things first, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. This has come to define who I really am, what my goals are, what my dreams are, and to whom I strive to be like. Next I am a Husband. My life would not be complete without my wife. I live for the time we spend together and for the eternities we will some day share. I am a father. My 4 princesses are my pride and joy. It wasn't until I became a parent that I truly understood the meaning of life. My girls are the happiness that I truly enjoy. I am a professional. In my area of work, I have the opportunity to fly to the rescue of the wounded. My Chariot? a UH-60 MEDEVAC Blackhawk. I have traveled the world and experienced the blessings of the gospel in many languages. I love that no matter where I go, there is always a happy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to greet me with a welcoming smile. In my free time, I love to bike, hike, camp, and spend time outdoors. I find the hand of God in all the beauties of Nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I can not imagine my life without the light and testimony I have received from my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and from my Savior, Jesus Christ. It truly is the abundant life. All the blessings I have, all the happiness I have enjoyed, and the many witness of truth, I owe to my membership in Christ's True Church. Heavenly Father has witnessed to me on too many occasions for me to deny that He is truly mindful of me and my faith. He wants what's best for me and my family. And most of all, He wants us to return safely home. I know that by living the principles of the Gospel as taught by his modern Prophets and reveled scripture, we can draw nearer to Him. We can be happier than we ever could've dreamed. We can safely navigate a world full of spiritual perils and pitfalls. God's great Plan of Happiness is for all that will simply "Come and See." His love is extended to everyone of us.

How I live my faith

I have always lived my faith by being a "Doer of the word." Service to my congregation and community has been at the forefront of my faith. I believe that Heavenly Father needs faithful servants to fulfill his work on this earth. I currently serve in the presidency over young parents and adults. Together we strive to live the Gospel teachings, support each other, and strengthen families within our community. I have the particular assignment to organize and preside over the home teaching program. Members within our congregation visit, teach, and serve each other. Together, we are shepherds that care for and look after the flock.
