Hi I'm Kimba

I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love my family, friends, and the gospel! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Centerville, Utah but I grew up living in Mexico, Chile, and Argentina. I got my associates degree from Dixie State College (go Red Storm!), but am currently taking a break and serving the Lord. I love love love hiking, camping, and being in the outdoors! I also love playing tennis, traveling, and riding my scooter. I love my family and friends and can't imagine not spending eternity with them!

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My testimony and faith have grown a lot as I've grown up, but not until the past couple years have a realized how much it means to me. I love my family so much and can't imagine the thought of not being with them for eternity. It brings me so much comfort that I can always be with them if I follow our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He atoned for my sins and afflictions and loves each and every one of us. He loves us so much he has given us modern-day prophets, the Book of Mormon, temples, and the gift of the Holy Ghost. All these things are to help us make good choices and return to live with him someday. I'm so grateful for the Book of Mormon. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. It contains the fulness of the gospel. It brings me closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ everytime I read it. Whenever I'm going through a hard time the Book of Mormon helps me overcome my challenges and have feelings of comfort. Because of this I know that Joseph Smith Jr. is a prophet of God and that he restored Jesus Christ's gospel back to the earth. I know that he also restored the priesthood to the earth. I know Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God and that his word is God's word. I know this church is true and that's why I'm member of it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can. Even though I make lots of mistakes, I look to our Savior as an example of love and patience. I read the Book of Mormon, pray, and go to church every Sunday. I'm currently serving as a missionary so that I can help bring others this everlasting gospel of happiness. I'm grateful for all the blessings Heavenly Father has blessed me with!

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Kimba
It is true. I know it's true. You can find out for yourself that it's true through reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. Through the spirit, you will know for yourself that it is true. That is a promise! Show more Show less
