Hi I'm Lorin

Since birth I am profoundly deaf. I grew up in Riverside, California. I'm a Mormon since my parents already are faith in Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 great kids and a grandfather of four granddaughters. Currently I live alone here in Arizona and doing a contract job with Intel Corporation.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in Mormon Faith. However I finally understand the gospel message when after two years I attended the Gallaudet College, Washington DC. Several months after traveling back to California, my travelling buddy, who happened to be a willing investigator, I agreed to sit down and talk with the young ASL Missionaries in my apartment. After many discussions and much prayer, the Holy Ghost gave me an undeniable witness of the truthfulness of Mormon doctrine and beliefs. Shortly after that I was gone to the full time ASL mission and have never looked back.

How I live my faith

At present, I am a lay ecclesiastical member of ASL (American Sign Language) Phoenix Arizona congregation. This allows me the opportunity to develop leaderships skills, and Christ-like qualities, as I seek to provide effective service to the local leaders, and the general membership. I am grateful for the opportunity to grow as I serve, and to help others do the same.
