Hi I'm Aaron

I love my family, I love serving my fellow man, I love my life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my family more than anything in the world. I love music and singing. I'm in the process of obtaining my teaching credential with a desire to teach elementry school students while studying to become a marriage and family therapist. My ultimate goal is to become a therapist and devote my career to helping couples not only to save their marriages, but also teach them how to thriveo thrive as a couple and have an incredible marriage full of joy and happiness. I love nature, the outdoors, working in my backyard, and taking care of our hens and rabbits. I also enjoy family history and am enjoying learning about my ancestors. I love Sundays because we go to Church and spend the day together as a family relaxing.

Why I am a Mormon

I had gone through a painful period in my life and during that experience had realized how important it was to have the Savior Jesus Christ in mine and my children's lives. I was baptized as an infant into the Lutheran Church but we never went to church when I was growing up. I was searching for a church to become a part of and had tried out a few but nothing felt right. I worked with an individual who had the courage to introduce me to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in late 1999. I took the time to read The Book of Mormon and pray about it. After reading The Book of Mormon and praying about it, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is true. I was baptized on February 9th, 2000. The Church has been the greatest blessing of my life. Once again, I love my life!

How I live my faith

I love going to Church and being involved. We live our beliefs daily and are better people because of it. We have daily family prayer which brings togetherness into our home and beyond. At Church I have been a Cub Scout Leader, a Ward Missionary and my favorite calling of all which was teaching the Sunbeams (3-4 year olds) in Sunday School. I am also a home teacher which is a program we have within the Church where I have a few families that I go and visit each month. These are families that I not only visit monthly but people that through the hometeaching program I have become friends with and love dearly. I know I've said it before but I have to say it again: I love my life!

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Aaron
The women of the Church are the most amazing women in the world! In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints men treat their wives with love and respect, are typically their best friends, and treat their spouses as an equal in all things. Show more Show less
