Hi I'm Ken

I am a 5th generation Mormon from Georgia.

About Me

I was born & raised in Georgia & have lived there all my life (except for 3yrs. courtesy of the US Army). I have been married to my wonderful wife for 37 years & have 2 daughters & 3 grandchildren. I grew up loving to be outdoors, hunting , fishing & playing sports. When time permits I enjoy playing golf with my friends and watching college football (Go Dogs). After serving in the Army for 3 years I went to Atlanta to go to school and got my BBA & MPA in accounting at Georgia State University. After working in the accounting field for 30 years I decided to change courses & became a licensed real estate agent. One of the greatest joys in life is to be able to help others achieve their dreams & if you can make a little money at the same time, well it just does not get any better than that.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a 5th geneation member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was raised in the church but like most who were born in the church I had to gain my own testimony of the truthfullness of the gospel. I was in my late 20s when that happened. Once I made the decision to totally follow the Savior & commit myself to serving him & the church, my life changed. I can honestly say that I have never been happier. The church has helped me to be a better father, husband, friend & neighbor. I know I can be better but I also am confident that I will be able to face the challenges that life bring with the help of the Lord. What comfort & peace of mind that brings.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by following the Golden Rule & the example set for us by the savior, Jesus Christ. I attend church each Sunday & strive to faithfully fulfill the callings given to me. I have served in many leadership positions in the church which have all been as much a blessing for me as for the people I have served. I try to make people laugh & lift their spirits when down. I try to help others understand that this life, even with its challenges, is a wonderful gift from our father in heaven.
