Hi I'm Maren

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am wife to my amazing husband and mother to 5 wonderful children (4 boys and 1 baby girl). In my free time (if I have any) I like to make homemade cards and scrapbook. I love to hang out with my family and friends, play games & watch movies, and I also like to read when I get the time to sit still long enough. I started singing when I was young and it is something that I love to do. I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Several generations of my family have all been members of my faith, so I was born into the church. I've been a Mormon all my life! It's all I've ever known, and I can't imagine my life without the knowledge I have of my faith. I have struggled through so many trials in my life, and have seen the hand of the Lord in my life in each instance. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy!

How I live my faith

I have served in many capacities in my church. From leading the music in our worship services, to serving as Secretary then later President of our children's organization. I am currently serving as Secretary in our women's organization. I love being involved in planning events that will uplift others and helping people to feel welcome and loved.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Maren
We have 3 different meetings during our worship time. We all meet together as families for our Sacrament Meeting. This is where we partake of the sacrament, sing hymns and listen to people from our congregation speak about assigned topics. Adults then go to Sunday School where we are taught from the scriptures, and the Children meet together to sing songs and be taught lessons of their own. During our third meeting the men and women separate and are taught the same lesson, but in a smaller setting with others that we have a deep comraderie with. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend our meetings. Show more Show less
