Hi I'm Greg

I'm a father, grandfather, an airline executive, a University of Utah football fan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father of four children and one nephew and a husband to my best friend for over 30 years. I am also the grandfather of 3 beautiful grandsons. I am an airline executive who is lucky enough to run the largest hub operation in the world in Atlanta, Georgia. I love to travel all over the world, snow ski in the mountains of Utah, golf year round in the South, tour baseball parks across the country with my sons and son-in-law, run anywhere and support local high school wrestling. I’m also an avid University of Utah football fan!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the example my Mother set for me and my siblings as she raised all seven of us on her own along with the help of the congregation we attended in a small town in Idaho. When I was 8 years of age, two Mormon missionaries knocked on our door in Landenberg, Pennsylvania. Shortly thereafter, our entire family joined the church. Not long after that, my parents separated but my mom had tremendous faith and wanted to move west where she felt she would have greater support from other church members. Over the years, she taught me and my siblings well. The move from Pennsylvania to Idaho was done out of pure inspiration. Between her great attitude and the love and support of other members, I was bound and determined to gain my own testimony of the Savior and His gospel. I was blessed with great friends and great leaders growing up. I was truly raised by a “village”. At the age of 19, I served a mission for our church in South Africa. I spent two years teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the wonderful people of that area. It was those two years where my testimony of the Savior was solidified. I know He lives and I know He is my Savior. I also know beyond a shadow of a doubt that His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was restored to the earth in this, the last dispensation and that we have a living prophet on the earth today even President Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

For many years I have been blessed with opportunities to serve in the church in several different states; the majority of the time working with youth groups. I am still a kid at heart so being around them has been a blessing. I’ve also had the opportunity to serve in several humanitarian relief efforts with the “Mormon Helping Hands” assisting people of all faith who have been impacted by floods, hurricanes and tornadoes. My daily efforts to live my faith include reading the scriptures with my family and striving to help others any way possible. I am blessed to have great friends, co-workers and family members who know and respect my beliefs. I love the Gospel and the many opportunities it provides for me to serve others and follow the Savior.
