Hi I'm Ethen

I am a seasoned stone craftsman. I am an outdoor enthusiast. A am a father of three.

About Me

I have had a stone passion for the last 10 years. I enjoy designing and building outdoor fireplaces, kitchens, and other intertainment areas. I love camping and doing outdoor activities with my family. I have just finished my associates degree in plant operations majoring in nuclear. I hope to work at a nuclear plant someday and continue to do natural stone counter tops and masonry projects on my days off.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church. In my high school years I did not attend church on a regular basis because of sports. I questioned the churches teaching when I entered college. My actions in my life were not according to the church's teachings. I hit a cross roads in my life to where I could no longer sit on the fence of the Latter Day Saints belief of "Was Joseph Smith a prophet, and was the Book of Mormon another testiment of Jesus Christ" It took four months of fasting and prayer for me to actually receive a confirmation. The feeling of confirmation was the same feeling of confirmation that I get when I am doing service for others except multiply it by ten. I can always recognize my saviors love for me when I try to do the things he taught and did. As I make my lifes decisions based off of the Bible and Book of Mormons's teachings together I feel more connected and closer to being near my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I did serve a two year church mission in Denver Colorado from 2000-2002. I loved the people that I got to serve in Colorado. I presently teach a 45 min sunday school lesson for the 10-12 year olds every Sunday.
