Hi I'm Sheldon

I love soccer. I love my family. I love music. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student who loves learning. Consider me strange but I actually enjoy doing most of my homework and learning new things. I'm an Accounting major planning to go into business. My dream is to be the CEO of a large music productions business. My friends and family are very important to me. I usually could care less what we do as long as I get to spend time with those I love. I also love making friends. I could move around every few months and love it just because I love meeting new people and creating a new life. I also love trying new things. I think I dable a little too much in everything and specialize too little in anything. I get the greatest joy when I set a goal and I achieve it, proving to myself that I can do it. I just love being happy and seeing other's happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that he is my Redeemer because he has healed me when I am broken and hopeless. He has empowered me when I was weak. I know that I can never repay Him for all that he has done but I still want to give Him all that I have. I know that Jesus Christ has restored, through His chosen prophet Joseph Smith, His church and the fullness of His gospel by the evidence He has given the world, the Book of Mormon. The Holy Spirit of God has revealed the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and so I will stay true to the world... no matter what the world may say.

How I live my faith

I am in college and do not drink alcohol. I don't smoke. I don't even watch rated R movies. I try to fill my life with the most wholesome recreational activities and I try not to let peer pressure get the best of me. I am currently enrolled in a school that is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so that means I spend a lot of time with others who believe in the same things that I do. I try to be virtuous in every way possible and I'm thankful that God has given me many opportunities to have good influences in my life.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Why do we do baptisms for the living? To perform the saving ordinance to those who have not yet received it. It is the same for those who are passed. We do baptisms for the dead to bring salvation to all souls. Show more Show less
