Hi I'm Christina

I'm a carpet designer. I love my life! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I was raised LDS, I have not always been so securely rooted in the church. I wandered for many years because I did not think I needed it. I never doubted the truthfullness of it , though, and a few years ago I found my way back. I am an artist. I love to draw, paint, crochet, felt and anything else that is visually expressive. I'm also crazy about music; listening to it and making it. I love to experiment and learn every day. I also talk in that really high, annoying baby voice whenever I see an animal. I love them all!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is TRUE! It is that simple. I have tried other churches, and that is how I can be sure. Following Heavenly Father and trying to be like His Son makes me a better person. The true gospel of Jesus Christ saves lives, it changes people. It changes me every day.

How I live my faith

I try to serve every day. I don't always succeed, but I try. I don't expect to be perfect. That is not why I am here. It is to grow, learn and progress. As long as I keep things out of my life that would inhibit this growth, I am happy. I also live it by trying to let His light shine through me. I live clean, I don't cuss, I keep the sabbath day holy. People notice these things. Some of them think I'm weird, but most think it's pretty cool.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Nope...I didn't, but I sure wish I had. I have never met a missionary whose life has not been blessed greatly, along with the lives of their families. While my sister was on her mission, she prayed for me every day. I didn't know she was doing it. It was during this time that I felt a very strong pull to return to the church and give it another try. I fully believe that it was her diligent and faithful service to God during her mission that brought me back. Show more Show less
