Hi I'm Peggy

I grew up in Utah and British Columbia, Canada. My family and faith are the core of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up surrounded by mountains and I love the outdoors. I really enjoy hiking and photography. My husband and I have travelled a lot and I love the adventure of learning about new places and people. We have six children and six grand-children.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a teenager, I struggled to find faith even though I was born into a Latter-day Saint family. After years of praying and struggling to understand what God had in mind for my life, I had an overwhelming spiritual experience that helped me to KNOW that God loves me and knows who I am. As I recognized His great power and love, I knew with absolute certainty that He loves all of His children. Since then I have had thousands of spiritual experiences (many of them small and quiet) as I talk to my Heavenly Father through prayer and seek His guidance in my life. I have discovered that some of the times when I have learned the most about His love was when I was suffering with the greatest grief.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures daily, communing with God in prayer and trying to be a good person. I also attend Church regularly where I am given the opportunity to serve others. Often those “callings” challenge me beyond what I think I am capable of but then I see God’s power in lifting me. I also have a church “family” who is patient with my weakness and helps me out a lot!
