Hi I'm Nick

I'm a Chemist, a Saxophonist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I study Physics and Chemistry in college and I hope to continue school until I can get a Masters and/or Doctorate degree. I have loved science as long an i can remember, and I have been doing all kinds of "experiments " for just as long. I hope to have a career in research in the Physical Chemistry field. I love learning about how the world works and see the wonderful complexity of the world around us. I have found myself looking at the seemingly simple things around me and thinking about how complicated they really are. I have been playing Saxophone since 6th grade, and I play in Concert Band, Marching band, and anytime I simply want to hear the sweet sound of the best instrument on the face of the planet. I enjoy developing my talent through practice and sharing it with people in concerts. I love when I am playing and I can put aside the worries of life and only worry about how the music sounds, and how I can make it better. I have been playing tennis for about 5 years and I love to play at every chance I can. My dad and I have spent many hours on the tennis court playing, talking, and laughing. It is a great way to share time with loved ones at the same time as exercise. My family is a very important part of my life. I have 2 younger sisters, who show their love for me by hugs, candy, and "beating" up on me 2vs1. I have wonderful parents who support me in everything that I do and they are always willing to give me advice on any topic. I love them so much!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been going to chuch for a long time. Under the guidence of my parents and other family members I grew to love the church so much. I continue to go to church not just because my parents are members but because I have seen the effect of it in my life. I have seen all of the good things that the gospel brings into my life and I want to continue to recieve those blessings. Some people wonder how I can love science and still be religious. I tell them that the more I find out about the world we live in, the more my faith strengthens. I have seen how complicated the world really is, but yet is still functions when there are so many things that could go wrong. I don't believe that our wonderful world could be a mere coincidence, and I know for sure that our loving Father in Heaven created it for our enjoyment.

How I live my faith

Right now I I'm serving on a mission in the great country of Russia. I am here to share the peace and happiness I have found from the gospel and the church with all those people around me. I strive to live in such a way that all people that see me know that I am a follower of Christ from my appearance and my actions, and not just the badge that I wear. I have have chosen to sacrifice two years of my life to share the wonderful message of the gospel with the wonderful people of Russia and to give them the opportunity to find the joy that is so readily available from following Jesus Christ. I have seen the happiness in my own life and I want everyone to have the same wonderful blessings that I enjoy.
