Hi I'm Tyler

I play the bagpipes, I speak Bulgarian, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a missionary in the Bulgaria Sofia/Turkey Mission. After my mission I plan on going to Utah State University to study Wildlife Sciences. I love to be outside in the mountains and have been hunting and hiking since I can remember. I also love music, having played the piano for nearly 9 years and the Scottish bagpipes for 3. I also own several other odd instruments, such as a didgeridoo, accordion, ukulele, violin and trumpet, although I've never had the time or money to be taking lessons for everything!

Why I am a Mormon

Up until the time I was 8 my family was largely less-active, going to church every few weeks. Around the time that I turned 8 my mother decided that she wanted to get back into the "church thing" and we started to attend more frequently. For several years, I hated going to church for 3 hours every week. Eventually, as a teenager, I decided to find out whether this church was all it was cracked up to be. So without going into detail, I asked our Father in Heaven if this was his church and if it was all worth my time, and I felt that it was. I've loved this church ever since.

How I live my faith

I make the church part of my daily life as a missionary. I go out and talk to people everyday that know little to nothing about our church (or an awful lot of wrong stuff). After my mission I intend to keep attending and doing whatever else is asked of me.
