Hi I'm Brittany Miller

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a current student at Brigham Young University majoring in Math Ed and Minoring in Music. I love spending my free time playing music and building relationships with those around me. I grew up with a non-religious family and came to know about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through a friend. I was baptized in August of 2008 and I have been striving to grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ since then. My main goal I have in my life is to bring my family to know of the gospel and the joy that it can bring.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know, and have felt, the peace that the gospel can bring into my life. I know that this peace and joy can be felt through anyone's life that chooses to partake of the gospel and the truths that it teaches. I read the Book of Mormon and gained a testimony that it is indeed another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that with careful study and pondering of the Book of Mormon, the spirit will reveil to anyone that the Gospel of Jesus Chist is true. It is because of this conviction of truth and joy that I joined this church. I realized through teachings of the Church that God is a knowable being, who loves his children. As I read the Book of Mormon I felt that love and felt myself grow closer to him. I know that all of God's children can feel this love and happiness that comes with the Book of Mormon, if they study with real intent.

How I live my faith

Everyday is another day for me to grow, and many times that includes challenges. But those challenges force me to rely on my faith in God that he will help me through anything. I strive to grow closer to my father in heaven and to strengthen my own knowledge of the gospel. Scripture study and prayer has become a daily habit so that I can strengthen my knowledge and relationship with God.
