Hi I'm Sabrina

I grew up in Canada, but have been in the United States for many years. I love meeting and helping people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most of my family is Catholic. I was converted and baptized when I was eight years old. I left my family and the church when I was thirteen. I raised five children alone and will have a granddaughter and a grandson by January 2012. After years of inactivity and bad decisions, I have returned to the church and am working on being a better example to my family and others. Through it all, I have never lost my faith in God or His church. I just got sidetracked for a while. I'm grateful to be back.

Why I am a Mormon

I've never really thought about WHY I'm a Mormon. It just feels right, I guess. Everything I read or am taught makes sense to me. When I feel the spirit of the Lord, I know that what is being said is the truth. I have a warm, almost emotional feeling inside my whole body and I feel refreshed and content. The weight of the world and its complications is lifted from my shoulders when I think about what my Heavenly Father has done for me and the entire world. Knowing that with obedience to God's word, repentance and perserverance I am forgiven all my sins and can work toward being by God's side again is very comforting to me.

How I live my faith

I have been struggling with my health lately, so I miss church a lot. I look forward to feeding the local missionaries dinner as often as possible. I enjoy listening to their lessons and they join us on Family Night when they can. I love spending as much time as I can with my beautiful family and thank God for every precious moment I have with them.
