Hi I'm Elder Norman Ovando

I'm a Mormon. I am 26 years old, I am from Los Angeles, California I am serving a full-time mission in the Mexico Oaxaca mission.

About Me

Hey! So a little about me, I am a YSA in Los Angeles who loves to do all kind of outside activities. I am very active in the church and serve with the Young Men in my ward, I love it! I work full-time and am a Student as well. I have great faith and always trust in the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, both my parents are members and they have taught me the right path and have taught me principles to build my life off of. I however, have made the decision to be a member and a person with strong principles through prayer and study of the Book of Mormon, this book has changed my life and has made me the person i am today, i hope to continue to get better and grow. Reading and studying the scriptures is what helps me, and what draws me closer to Him.

How I live my faith

i am currently a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I live my faith my sharing it with other people and inviting other to come unto Him. I love helping people and sharing with them the message of the Book of mormon, something that changed my life can surely change the lives of other people. I hope to be able to find the people who want or seek the change in their life.

In whom should we have faith?

Elder Norman Ovando
We should have faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. He is the one who will take us back to our Heavenly Father. Everything else that happens, prayers, fasting, reading the scripter, etc. all come from that root of faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is not just believing, it is acting on what we know is true. If one only has a simple desire to just know the truth, they must act on that desire to excersize their faith. Show more Show less
