Hi I'm Maria

I'm a Mormon. I am 21 years old.

About Me

I have lived in Washington all my life. I have two brothers who I love very much. I have a wonderful family who I love very much as well. They mean so much to me and I don't know what I would do without them. I graduated from Bothell High School in 2010 and am currently in the singles ward. I am currently preparing for a mission. I love my friends and I love hanging out and spending time with them. I am half white half filipino. My dad is german that is how i'm half white and both of my moms are from the Philippines and that is how I am half filipino. My last name Knoblaugh means garlic in german. It's kind of funny. I love watching movies. I am a huge Twilight fan. My favorite holiday is Christmas because of all the pretty lights, decorations, and colors. My favorite color is pink. I love helping people. Service is a wonderful thing. If someone drops something and I don't know them I still pick it up and say excuse me you dropped this. I love being happy. Heavenly father wants me to be happy and not down or sad. I know he loves me. I know I am a daughter a god.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I want to be. I love my heavenly father so much and he knows what is best for me. I am always clean. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs or anything that disappoints my heavenly father. I love having a church to go to every Sunday. I love being in the singles ward. I am always happy there. I love learning more about the church every Sunday. It is good to be prepared and bring what I need to bring. If I forget then I feel bad and can't really follow along unless I share with someone. I have a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. Christ is in our home, a guest at every meal, a slient listener to every conversation. I am truly happy that I chose to be baptized in his church. This church is my life and I don't know what I would do without it. I love telling people who I am. I am not scared to tell them that I am mormon. I love the scriptures. It is a great thing to read.

How I live my faith

I love being involved in every ward activity to be close to my heavenly father. I attend family home evening every Monday and Insitute every Wednesday. We also have volleyball every Thursday. When I attend every week I know my heavenly father is so proud of me. My calling right now is the Relief Society commpassionate services. I love doing my visiting teaching because I care about who I visit teach very much and so they can learn more about Relief Society.
