Hi I'm Charice

I am a military spouse. I have 4 children all of whom I homeschool. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband serves in the United States Air Force and is frequently gone. We move around alot and have friends all over the world. We rely on each other and our faith to stay strong and happy. I am also a homeschooling mother with 4 children. It is a lot of work but I enjoy it very much and it is benificial to the children and me as we all learn together. We are an active family and like to try new things together, especially as we move to a new places. There is so much to learn and discover it seems we are frequently picking up new hobbies. My new favorite is boogie boarding.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint for generations. Ever since it's founding but that is not why I stay active in the church. When I was 14 I was challenged to learn for myself the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and stop leaning on the testimonies of my parents and grandparents. So put it to the test. I studied and prayed and realized that I had a testimony that had been growing throughout my life step by step a little at a time. I now knew for myself that it was true. Because of that experiecne I decided that I would live my beliefs and do what I know to be right and my testimony continues to grow as I do what is right.

How I live my faith

I teach a class that is held on Sundays for the women in our church. I get to share the gospel with my peers. I feel like they teach me more than I teach them as they share experiences and insightes that help all of us better understand the principles being taught. I also meet with other women in the church once a month to discuse gospel topics and help them with any of their needs both temporal and spiritual.
