Hi I'm Erin Corrigan

I'm a missionary serving in the Colorado, Fort Collins Mission. San Diego is home. I'm a laughing machine, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old. I am currently called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Colorado Fort Collins Mission starting January 2016. I'm the last of a blended family of 7. I'm obsessed with chicken tenders. I plan to go to school for psychology/social work to be a marriage and family counselor. I love the beach. I deeply enjoy music of all kinds, and like to think I can sing...sometimes. I'm an open book and love to connect with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have been a member since I was 8 years old, but only recently have I truly converted to His gospel. Unfortunately I made some wrong decisions in the past that distanced myself from God, but through those experiences I was able to know of the reality of the Atonement. Since then, the Church has been a major part of my life and I do not know what I would do without it. I know that Heavenly Father is always there waiting with open arms waiting for all His children to accept His help. I know that I will never feel alone or lost because I know that the Lord will always be there for me. I know that God loves me just as much as He does all His children, and the blessings that I have received are available to everyone. There are so many ways this gospel has blessed my family and me, and by serving a mission, I am blessed with the great opportunity and responsibility to invite others to come unto Christ and partake in the blessings He has in store for them.

How I live my faith

Maintaining a strong relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is something I strive for every day. I try to acquire and maintain good habits such as praying often, reading my scriptures daily, and attending church meetings. I've learned that by doing those small and simple things, my faith can and will increase. Living the gospel standards is a conscious choice that I make because I crave that close relationship to my Heavenly Father.
