Hi I'm Myles

I'm a Canadian. I love to play video games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old. I love to swim and do anything that involves playing in or with water. I love to play in the snow. Video games are my forte. All of these things are most fun when done with family though. I believe in building strong relationships with friends and family and having the most fun with them I can. I like to play around on the guitar. One of my most favorite things to do though is to workout, there is nothing quite like the adrenaline rush you gain when you put your body to it's physical limits, and then the following weeks you see that your body now has even greater limits. After I've pushed my body to it's limits and beyond, either from working out, swimming, playing in the snow, or whatever else, I like to sit and excersize my thumbs a little while I play video games with my friends and family. To me bonding is something very important, all things mentioned above are never quite as good, or not even fun or worth the time at all if I can't enjoy the bonding moments they bring with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first of all because I have great parents who raised me in this religion. They taught me the joys that living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings into life. They taught me by example how great and merciful our Lord really is. And then I, having been taught these things from birth, lived according to the principles I was taught and found for myself that it truly is the way to happiness in this life and in the life after. I have made mistakes before but through the power of the Atonement, that sacrifice our Savior made for us, I have been able to: repent, be forgiven, and be blessed in my efforts to overcome my weaknesses. Ultimately, I am a Mormon because I have experienced the joy and peace that come from living the way that Jesus Christ Himself taught. And I know that He has again called a prophet in our day to lead and guide us all. I know His gospel was restored through a prophet, Joseph Smith, and that through restored authority, I can be with my family forever. I know these things through reading and praying about the Book of Mormon, and living according to the teaching taught therein, as well as the teachings taught in the Holy BIble.

How I live my faith

When I was 18 years old I taught a Sunday School class to other youth near to my age (15-18 years of age) and continued to do so until I was old enough to be allowed to serve a mission (19 years of age). I am currently serving my Savior on a two year mission where I am blessed to have the opportunity to share my beliefs with others and teach them why I believe the things I do and how they can come to know if I am teaching them what the Savior Himself once taught. I have tried my best to live my faith by being dedicated to learning more about my Savior, and all He has done, as well as doing my best to strengthen others. I have had the blessing to be involved in providing many various acts of service for individuals and for the community. These things have brought me closer to our Lord and have helped me to overcome my own personal flaws and weaknesses by putting my trust in Him.
