Hi I'm Crishelle

I'm an adventurer. I love life and laughter. I love being outdoors especially in the mountains and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and want to live it to the fullest! I love spending time with the people I love and making memories. I am a college student. I am studying Recreation Management and in case you were wondering, yes it is the best major in the world!! I get to do what I love for life. I lead a high adventure life and find joy in everything that I do. I love a good challenge and always push myself to be better. Being outdoors is where I find the most happiness. I love to ski, slalom ski, wakeboard, rock climb, hike, snowmobile, bike, and any other opportunity that comes my way. I love learning new things and teaching others what I know. I believe that you should dare to live and always give your best never letting an opportunity pass you by. Though during times of growth it may hurt, joy is found through growing and learning. Life is hard but is always better with a smile and laugh on your side. I recently went sky diving for the first time, this was not something I had set my heart on but when the opportunity arose I seized the day and jumped. Live with no regrets and love every moment. I am currently serving a mission as a representative of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and nothing has ever brought me such happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I asked and felt with burning conviction that this is His church on the earth today. I was baptized when I turned 8. There is not a certain experience that I can pinpoint where I gained my testimony, rather it was little by little that I found mine. Each time I bore my testimony, read my scriptures, prayed to my Father in Heaven, and was obedient, my testimony grew. It was like a cup of water that is being filled drop by drop. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that through his atoneing sacrifice we can become like our Father. He is God's son and my brother. He lifts and supports me in all things. He is the light, the life, and the way. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and it teaches us to follow Him. I choose to follow Christ because it gives me hope. Hope that I can one day return to live with my Father in Heaven, be with my family for all eternity, and become a little better each and every day. This is why I am a Mormon. As we walk through life there are many times we walk in the dark not sure of what the future holds. I would much rather walk this path with Christ on my side, following His counsel because I know he will direct and guide my life. He has a hand in my life, with Him I am not walking blind at all. There have been a couple times where I have wondered what my life would be like without Him, imagining that i felt so alone and lost. It is through him I find purpose, direction, and strength. He might ask a lot but the blessings I recieve in return are worth it all.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by moving forward each and every day striving to be better. Through the gospel I find the strength I need to keep on keepin on. There is always a a shining moment to hold on to - so I always look for the bright side of every moment. Life is to be enjoyed and not just endured. Freedom is found through obeying the commandments and turning to God for support and direction. I find strength, joy, happiness, and love in living the way my Father in Heaven would have me live. I strive to live so that others my see my testimony. I hope that everywhere I go people will know that I am a representative of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am currently living in South Florida sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone I meet. I want to share the thing that I most cherish with the world. The Gospel has changed my life and made me who I am today - it has blessed me and my family. I am going to share it with anyone and everyone so they can feel of the hope, peace, and joy I feel as I live my faith.
