Hi I'm Stephanie Mann

I am a missionary. I am 1 of 7. I am a daughter, sister, and aunt. And I am a Mormon

About Me

I am the fifth youngest of seven children. With being one of the younger children, I have been able to learn from older siblings mistakes. I love to stay positive and try my hardest to pull the positives out of every bad situation. My youngest sister was adopted and sealed to us when I was a freshman in high school and that was a true blessing. I try to be an example to not just the people around me but to my younger siblings. I have very long legs which makes it harder to find modest clothing but I don't let that push me into wearing something I wouldn't be pleased to wear in front of the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know for a fact that this is the true church. I've been a Mormon since I was born. I'm so glad I was brought up in this church. Being a Mormon makes life seem so much easier. All the words from the scriptures and prophets help to make day to day decisions. This religion if the base of my life. By following the guidlines of the church, I am able to be a much more happier person and feel better about myself. I don't have to struggle with things most people do because I have made up my mind when I was young on never to participate in drugs, alcohol, sex before marriage, and even cussing. By doing this, I am able to feel so much more confident in myself and not ashamed of anything I would have possibly done. There are so many blessings you can get from being Mormon. There are an unbelievable amount of opportunities that can come from this amazing religion. And the feeling you get can't be put to words.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve a mission in the Utah Salt Lake City East mission reporting December 18th, 2013. As preparing for my mission I try to attend as much gospel study as possible. I am still being taught as I will be for the rest of my life. I do not use vulgar language, dress in ways that may cause bad thoughts, or anything else that may contradict the teachings of the gospel. I try to go day by day so that when my Savior, Jesus Christs, returns I hope to be ready.
