Why I am a Mormon

I came to know the mormon church through missionaries teaching my Dad. I didn't talk too much with the missionaries but I liked that my Dad was changing with the many visits from the missionaries. The missionaries first met my Dad in town (Nuku'alofa, Tonga) and asked for his details because they had a message to share with him. My Dad, not being 100% interested, gave the missionary incomplete details, to which the sister missionary took 5-6 months to find him. My Dad then started taking the lessons from the missionaries. My Dad and I was baptised on September 11th 2009. I continued to attend church every Sunday from then and as I learnt more about the church, I have no doubt that this church is true. I liked the change that it was doing to my life. I have a firm knowledge that God still speaks to us today and we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I know that the steps to becoming like our Saviour Jesus Christ is through increasing our Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, daily repenting of our wrong doings, renewing our baptismal covenants by attending sacrament weekly on Sunday, using the gift of the Holy Ghost to make right choices and enduring every bit to the end. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ can change lives, it did mine :)

How I live my faith

I am not alone in this. "There is neither man or woman in this church who is not on a mission to do good, to promote righteousness, to teach the principles of truth, and to prevail upon themselves and everybody around them to live those principles that they may obtain eternal life". Right now, I am serving as a full time missionary for the church in Perth, Australia. In this divine work, we go about teaching and inviting others to learn of the gospel and how it can bless their lives and their families. We also help others increase their relationship with our Father in Heaven and His son, Jesus Christ. In doing this, I have grown to have a greater love for the people of Western Australia as they are all our Heavenly Father's children. My testimony has grown soo much as I continue in this marvelous work that I have been called to.
