Hi I'm Jordan

I am from Utah, I love water sports, and I am a missionary in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Jordan!! I love the outdoors! I love to snowboard in the winter and boat in the lakes of Utah in the summer. My favorite place on earth is Lake Powell in Southern Utah. I love Nature. I love spending time with my family. I have two younger sisters who mean everything to me. One of them has Down Syndrome and is the sweetest angel I know. Right now I am serving a mission in the Florida Ft. Lauderdale mission! I love it and it is truly a blessing for me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the Earth. Being a Mormon has blessed me in so many ways. I have been able to grow closer to God and Jesus Christ and I have also been able to see Heavenly Father's love for ALL of his Children. This love is manifest to us through the Plan of Happiness or Plan of Salvation. Knowing this plan; where I come from, what my purpose in life is here, and what is in store after this life; gives me so much peace and happiness. It brings purpose to my life and helps me to learn and progress. It is through the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ that all people can achieve happiness in this life and return to live with their Heavenly Father in the next life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith at this time by serving a 2 year mission for the Church. I am currently serving In the Fort Lauderdale Mission. I absolutely love my mission. It is such a blessing to me to see first hand how the message of the Restored Gospel can help people improve the quality of their lives no matter what circumstance they are in. I am always striving to become a better person and to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I firmly believe that becoming more Christ-like comes through the small, although sometimes unnoticeable, acts of kindness and love for one another. I am not perfect but I expect improvement and am continually working on improving and being an example to others.
