Hi I'm Morgan Smith

I love blasting music, college football, napping, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! I'm Morgan. I'm from Minneapolis, basically the coolest (pun intended) place on earth. I just got back from serving a mission in Pocatello Idaho and i absolutely loved it. I love music, college football, and sleeping. Staples is my favorite store. My life is THE BEST!

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't always have the strongest testimony of the gospel. I never really let my faith grow. Before I left on my mission, I decided I really needed to know for myself if this was true. I've been praying and studying the scriptures ever since. I'm a Mormon because I know that the things that the Book of Mormon teaches, the things our prophet teaches, and the things that I've come to know are true are the only way to real and lasting happiness in this life. I love this gospel so much. It's changed my life in more ways than I can even describe.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, praying, and trying to do my best every day. I try to be the kind of person that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know I can be. I fall short every single day. But, that's what Christ is for. He's there with me, helping me as I go. Like I said, I just got home from my mission. I learned so much about my faith and how to find real happiness. Now that I'm home, I try to serve as much as I did on my mission.

What are Mormon temples used for?

Morgan Smith
On the outside of each temple, it states "The House of the Lord." So, literally speaking, the temple is the house of God. Inside, members go to pray, to worship, and to become closer to Heavenly Father. We participate in sacred ordinances both for the dead and for the living. We are sealed to our families inside. When I go to the temple, I feel so close to Heavenly Father. I know that it is His home, and that by going to the temple, I can be closer to Him. Show more Show less
