Hi I'm Kerri

I grew up in Arizona. I have stage 2 papillary thyroid cancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies are drawing, reading, and watching anime. I like almost any kind of music with some exceptions. I'm a high school graduate and I'm hoping to eventually go to college or an art school. I know Spanish, Japanese, and Korean.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been an LDS member all my life, and i have a few reasons why I've stayed with religion, while the rest of my family has become inactive. I'm an LDS member because the gospel and my friends at church have helped me through a lot of hard times. I have a pretty strong testimony because of that and praying when I feel uncertain about something is probably why I've been able to do a lot of the things that I've done. After I graduated high school I found out that i have thyroid cancer and that I had to have surgery on it. And of course I was afraid about that because I had never had surgery before. About a week before my surgery, I had gotten a blessing from my home teachers and after that I wasn't afraid anymore and I got through my surgery just fine. So basically I have a very strong testimony and this church and the people I've met because of it mean a lot to me.

How I live my faith

I try to go to church and family home evening at my ward every week if I can and I go to a good portion of the activities that we have. I go with my best friend to her ward missionary meetings a lot even though I'm not a ward missionary but I try to help them with what I can. If some one asks me a question about my faith, I try to answer their questions as best as I can.
