Hi I'm Brycen

I'm a Mormon, and I absolutely love it.

About Me

I grew up in Boulder, CO. I played lacrosse in high school, I love hockey, and I love motorcycles and Jeeps. I was born into a Mormon family and was baptized when I was 8. I remember I wasn't baptized for a few months after I turned 8, and I could not wait, it was the longest 3 months of my life. Growing up I just ran through the motions of church, never really taking it too seriously. I attended BYU Provo for my freshman year of college. I'm very grateful that I was able to go there because I don't think I would have continued to go to church had I gone any where else. After my freshman year I began to prepare to serve. Then my life began to change. As I pondered on the Holy Spirit I often thought of how we are promised the gift of the CONSTANT companionship of the Holy Ghost. So I prayed and asked to have promptings that I could recognize and follow. The flood gates opened. Through seeking out the Spirit I have come to know my Savior, the amazing gift of repentance through the Atonement, and most importantly, the perfect love of Christ and of Heavenly Father. I now love this church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all of my soul. He has helped me to become worthy to serve a mission for Him. I am called to serve in the Brazil Curitiba Mission and leave on Nov 27. 2013. I am a son of God, and soon will be a humble servant and representative for Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and baptized when 8. For most of my life I ran through the motions, but as I began to pray and seek Him, true, real, and powerful miracles have occurred. I am a Mormon because it is Christ's only true and restored Church on Earth. I know this because I have prayed earnestly to know. I am a Mormon because God loves me and I love Him.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every way I can. I love service. Whether its doing a big project or just saying hello and showing a smile, when I'm kind and loving to others I feel His love for me and especially for them. I love reading the scriptures now, they literally contain knowledge and truth beyond any measurement of wealth. I pray when ever I can remember, I'm not perfect at it but I try. My love for Him, his love for me, and our love for others drive me everyday to grow closer to Him so that I can invite others unto Him.
