Hi I'm Anna

I'm in the Army ROTC program. I am studying Japanese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to College and majoring in Linguistics. (I don't know very much about it but I pretty excited because I just created my own language). I still act really immature and I have a bunch of crazy, wacky, fun roommates. I love pirates, ninjas, and rangers (like Aragorn from Lord of the Rings). I love exploring and climbing trees. My friends from my Ranger Challenge team (sort of like varsity of the ROTC program) and like my siblings and we have a lot of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a fifth generation Mormon on both lines. However I have had my own bumbs and struggles where I have had to find out for myself what I believe. Whenever I try to run away from God I can't forget Him and all He has done for me. I try to pretend that certain things in my life are coincidences only but I know that they are really from God. He has immensely blessed my life and I can't deny it. I know that God really lives and loves each one of us. He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to die for us. It is only through His redeeming grace that we can live with Him again. I am so thankful that we have a loving God who is there and hears our prays.

How I live my faith

I go to a Youth Single adult's ward. It is a lot of fun. Today we went to one of the ward member's house and ate dinner together. I go to church and the temple once a week. I love feeling the peace it brings to my life. It is very comforting and it helps me try a little harder to be a little better each day.
