Hi I'm Robert

I'm an IT professional, proud father, and an avid gamer. I'm a family man and an eagle scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 27 years old, and am a father, a husband, and a brother. I love playing with my son and going on dates with my wife. I love playing sports, like basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and any other sport I can think of. I love video games and board games alike, especially when my friends are playing. I've played them all my life, but I always try and keep perspective in my life, so I can remember what is most important to me: My Heavenly Father and my family. I'm a Psychology major who got a foot in the door in the IT industry. I graduated in 2009, and I love my current job. I speak some spanish, and I used to be pretty fluent. I visited Venezuela for 2 years. I'm very happily married, for over 3 years, and I am loving life.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of this church my whole life. My parents were very faithful members, and did the best they could to live and be what they believe. I chose to be baptized as a youth, and I chose to continue to be active in the church. I was active in the choir, chose to serve and help others, and I tried my best to live what I believed. I chose to prepare to be a missionary, and to serve others for two years in Venezuela. I quickly learned to speak Spanish, and loved every bit of it. I taught what I had always believed, and I showed others that I cared through service and hard work. I now have my own family, and continue to choose to follow Christ and do the best that I can to live what i believe. I love speaking with others about other religions and learning more about what they believe. I don't believe in arguing or fighting about religion, but I do enjoy a two-sided discussion about religion. I feel that I've always been very blessed with my family growing up, my family now, my job, and everything about my life. I don't have much, but I don't believe that you need much to be happy. A family and a strong belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ is all I need to be happy.

How I live my faith

I go to church activities and love participating in service projects and helping people. I am the scoutmaster of a scout troop, and help the young men learn invaluable skills and life lessons every week. I go on campouts and other youth activities to have fun and learn from the kids. In the church, I have volunteered with 2-3 year old nursery, conducted music, taught lessons as an instructor, and have helped with church finances and membership records. I help certain families by going over and giving them blessings when they are sick, help to make dinner and care for them when they're in need, and anything else they might need.
