Hi I'm Matthew Morgan

I'm the biggest BYU fan, I'm an Eagle Scout, I'm an enthusiastic runner, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi, I'm Matthew I just graduated High School, and I have a mission call to Mendoza Argentina!! I also have with my Eagle Scout. I ran Varsity Cross Country and Track, and I watch BYU sports whenever I can. I am also the oldest in my family, I have two younger bothers, and a younger sister. I have lived all of my life in St. Louis Missouri!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be, I know Jesus Christ atoned for my sins, and that through him I can return to his and Heavenly Father's presence in heaven. I know that this church is true. I have a testimony of the truth of this gospel, Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon. I have grown up as a Mormon and the church really helps to guide me in my life and helps me set my standards. I have no idea where my life would be if I wasn't a Mormon, but I know where I am because of the church and I am so grateful for it.

How I live my faith

On my cross-country team I'm known as Matt the "Mormon". I'm frequently being asked questions about being a Mormon, and I live my faith by setting an example to the other runners on the team. I just constantly try to look for opportunities to share the gospel in any way I can. A cool experience for me was Seminary. When I started high school I set a goal to never miss a day of Seminary ever. I made this goal because I knew that Seminary would put the Spirit in my day everyday and that was where the Lord wanted me. Luckily, I was able to succeed in this goal and I know that if I can be that focused on attending seminary, I can apply this focus to all areas of my faith. I try to live my faith by being an example, and by focusing on walking that straight and narrow path of discipleship.
