Hi I'm DaLea

I was born and raised in Idaho, but grew up in the South.

About Me

My husband, children, and I were brought to Georgia over 22 years ago for a great job opportunity. I was amazed how wonderful everyone (of all different faiths) treated us so kind and excepted us even though they knew nothing about us! I felt so much love and a kindred bond with all these people I had never met. One of the things that impressed me, and continues to impress me is everyone loves our Savior, Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father. So many people say, "Have a blessed day!" I myself, being born and raised in the Church had not experienced this kind of Love before. I have learned, and continue to learn how inclusive our Saviors love really is! So many wonderful brother and sisters we have and it feels so good to be around people who are not afraid to share that love with all those they come in contact with!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I had great pioneer ancestors who heard the truth of the Gospel and was baptised! I am so thankful for the heritage and for the trials that they over came for the rest of us. I am greatful for a Loving Heavenly Father who is patient with us all while we stumble our way through this life, and for our Savior, Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we could repent when we do stumble and fall! The Atonement in my life is everything! It has worked and I have felt it power change my life! What a blessing! I hope all those who read this profile will be able to feel in their hearts and the Spirit will testify of the truthfulness of this message! I know my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost have a very real part in my life as well as all my brothers and sisters in this world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth and has blessed so many people, and will continue to do so as long as there are those who are seeking for truth and happiness!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by accepting callings from our church Bishop. I know he is called by God to lead members in his area and boundaries where each chapel is located. I have held many calling throughout the years. I have been in primary which consists of children ranging from the ages of 18 months - 11 years old. I have worked with the youth in early morning seminary for 5 years and now I am currently working with the women in our ward! Each has their own lessons and things to learn and programs to help better and progress in this world! What a marvelous tool the church has to help everyone succeed and become more like our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love working in the church wherever I am called. Each time it is exactly what I need to further my education in the Gospel. I love to serve and be of help whenever I can. My husband and I have raised 6 children. 3 boys and 3 girls and they are outstanding members of communities and have grown so well in the gospel! It such a blessing when they gain testimonies for themselves and you see them love the truth and want to learn more.
