Hi I'm Lacey

I'm a wife. I'm a SAHM. I'm a graphic designer. I'm a yogi. I'm a foodie. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four children---two boys and two girls (How lucky is that to have two of each?!). My husband supports us so I can stay home with them. I met him at Brigham Young University-Idaho, where I graduated in art with an emphasis in graphic design. I do a little design work from home and try to stay active doing sports, but sometimes the kids alone keep me active enough! When I'm not chasing kids I'm traveling for my blog, www.journeytothetemples.com. I love to see the different temples of the church. I am also a yoga teacher on the side and I love to try different healthy food recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the hand of the Lord is in my everyday life. I've had so many small miracles in my life that have left no doubt in my mind that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. The faith I have is in part because of numerous prayers I have had answered. I have also felt the inspiring power of the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures. These experiences have led me to know that I indeed have a Father in Heaven and a Savior, who is Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. Christ is the perfect example to follow, and many times I fall short, but I continue to strive to live as He would. At church I serve the children. I teach kids ages 3-12 the principles of our church, such as keeping the commandments, being kind, and much more.
