Hi I'm Julia

I'm from Argentina, I move a lot, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Life is good. I'm currently serving a full-time mission in Boston and there's nothing I like better than doing this. I am the oldest of six children four of which are boys. My best friend is my mother. I love soccer and all kinds of sports. I'm an absolute music lover. Languages are kind of an obsession for me. I've learned that life can be really hard for some of us, but with the help and love of our Savior we can go through it with a smile on our faces knowing that life is indeed good.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it makes me happy. And everything related to it makes me happy. I have been blessed with amazing parents that have shown me the right path ever since I was born and I've tried ever since to stay in it. I know that if I follow it I can be with my family for eternity and nothing brings more joy than that.

How I live my faith

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to serve as a full time missionary for what I know to be the only true church on the face of this Earth. For that precise reason, often times I direct my daily scripture study with the aid of the Preach My Gospel manual (a book directed to help both members and missionaries convey the message of this church more effectively). As of right now, I have the amazing blessing to be a full time missionary of this church. Nothing else on earth has brought me that much happiness. I'm so happy to have this gospel in my life that I want absolutely EVERYONE to hear about these good tidings of great joy.

What is the Relief Society?

Women of the Relief Society strive to live by the words "charity never faileth", and a wonderful work awaits to those who do. Show more Show less

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Julia
Absolutely! Everyone is invited to come to church, we love to have visitors. Normally our main meeting, called sacrament meeting, goes first and lasts around 70 minutes. After that, the members are divided into different classes according to their age and situation. There are classes for children of all ages, for the youth and for adults. There are classes for those who have barely joined the church and for classes for those who have been members of the church for years. We go there to learn, a learning one is the environment that can be felt in a mormon church. Show more Show less
