Hi I'm Sean

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Utah and am currently serving a mission in Kentucky. I have three younger brothers and I am the oldest. I love it. Some of the things I like to do include snowboarding, basketball, and tennis. I pretty much enjoy doing anything that involves moving around. I also love spending time with friends and family, playing games, and listening to music. I've done a semester of college and hope to continue that after my mission. All in all I consider myself a pretty average person, but someone who enjoys his life.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born into the church, I guess it's something that I've grown up with. I learned to love the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I don't know what would happen to me without it. I also realize that I have imperfections and sometimes I hate that about myself. But I know that through the gospel of Jesus Christ I can eventually overcome those imperfections. I suppose that I could summerize my faith through this scripture from the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ: "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." (Moroni 10:32)

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as a missionary for the church. As missionaries we have a pretty tight schedule. We wake up at 6:30 every morning to get ready for the day. We study for 2 hours every morning. which is a great time for me to learn. From 10:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night, we're doing missionary work. I get to meet new people every day and I love it. Sometimes it's not always easy but it's definitely worth it. I feel like the blessings that I receive are so much greater than the effort that I put into it.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior. Only in and through Him can we be saved. We believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet and respect him as we would any other prophet who has benefited mankind such as Abraham, Moses, or Peter. Show more Show less
