Hi I'm Josh

I'm a Mormon and glad to be one.

About Me

I am from Utah. I like to exercise, lift weights, longboard, hike, go swimming, go for a nice motorcycle ride, and with the occasional video game. I grew up in provo where i helped my family with a small orchard farm. We had a couple horses one of which i helped train. I haven't been to college yet but i do plan on starting after i get home from my two year mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Well my whole life I grew up in the church but there came a time where i had to find out the truth of the message for myself. I wanted to get closer to God and obtain peace in my life that i new only a father in heaven could give. So i took a year off after high school and read the book of mormon every night to try and find my peace with God. It Worked! I found myself a happier person when i was learning the scriptures and praying and attending church not just to be there but really attending because i wanted to be there. I found all my answers in this Religion whether they be intellectual or spiritual, its all there. Most of all i found that peace that i wanted and a knowledge that i had a God who loved me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ and live his teachings. I chose to serve a mission and was called to the Kentucky Louisville Mission. Here i serve the Lord as best i can by helping people receive what i know to be true and how people can obtain true happiness in this life and in the life to come. I live my faith by learning, loving and practicing the principles of the gospel.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Josh
Eternal life is to live with God in his presence with a clear conscience. eternal existance is promised to all of God's creations but eternal life is a gift that comes when a person accepts the ordinances and principles of the Gospel as a token of love for God. Most of all the gift of eternal life is made possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and obedience and love for his commandments he has given us. Show more Show less
