Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a daughter. I'm a wife. I'm a mom. I'm a Southern Belle. I'm a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Grew up in Alabama. Had a wonderful 6 year adventure in beautiful Hawaii. Didn't learn the Hula. Became a pediatric nurse. Scared to death of roaches. Happily married. Find humor in everything. Worst cook ever. Love the ocean. Hockey mom. Could literally live off of sweets. Love rock and roll. I bite my nails. Clean freak. 2 beautiful children. Sudoku champ (in my own little world). Still a Mama's girl. Currently a Georgia Peach. Love all things preppy. Currently a stay-at-home mom and work from home as a pediatric phone advice nurse so I have the best of both worlds.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, basically because I lucky enough to be born into the church and have parents who made sure that I was taught about who I was and why I was here. I chose to stay Mormon because I believed what I was taught. I believed that there was a God who knows me by name and who loves me and has a plan for me. I believed that His son, Jesus Christ, is real and is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. Knowing these things gives me peace and comfort. Living the standards of the church gives me direction in life and teaches me how to find true happiness and joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and living the principles that I am taught there, by praying and trying to stay close to God, by reading and studying the scriptures, by loving and serving my family and others whenever I can, by teaching my children about their Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ and mainly just living a happy life...which is what the Gospel is all about!!
