Hi I'm Tessa

I love adventure. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and everything that comes with it--the ups as well as the downs. I love meeting people from all different walks of life and all different backgrounds. I am a sophomore in college studying Business Finance and am an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. I love taking risks, having that leap of faith, and chasing after my dreams.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is true. I know with every part of me it is true. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who wants me to live with Him again. I feel like the most blessed person in the world to know where to find true joy and happiness and where to find answers and where to find peace, comfort, and love. It makes me so sad to think people don't know where to turn when they are suffering. Jesus Christ and His gospel is it! The Book of Mormon has seen me through the hardest of times and been the greatest strength in my life. Being baptized and then being given the Gift of the Holy Ghost has been the single best thing that has ever happened to me. Nothing else brings greater confidence and happiness the way living the commandments and keeping covenants does. I am a Mormon because I am afraid of living a life without it and the strength and joy it brings.

How I live my faith

My faith in God is everything to me. I weave the gospel's teachings in to everything I do and that is where I find the sweetest happiness and the greatest success and prosperity in life. I know where I came from. I know and am confident in who I am and why I am. I understand that I am a daughter of God and live my life in that way; with purity, charity, virtue, and high moral standards and courage. I stand as His disciple and a witness of Him at all times, in all things, and in all paces. I have been in the presidency to unify the sisters of the ward in love and service to all those around us. I am now teaching the 4-5 year olds, am a ward missionary, and am preparing to serve my brothers and sisters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a full-time representative of the Lord so that they may feel this overwhelming happiness I feel by having the gospel in my life.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Tessa
"As God had done with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and other prophets, He called Joseph Smith to be a prophet through whom the fulness of the gospel was restored to the Earth." God loves His children--ALL of His children. I am so comforted to know that He speaks to us and guides us as well as in times of old. He has not ceased to watch out for us and provide "road maps" to return to Him. The scriptures, and prophet and apostles are just a few of the resources given to us to help us know His will so we can make it back to His presence. Show more Show less
