Hi I'm Joanie

I am from Idaho. I am a stay-at-home mom and I love it. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to sketch, jog and read. I have recently started writing and enjoy it a lot. I love singing, dance, and sewing. My husband and I have four small children that are the light of my life. We life in the middle of nowhere and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I believe the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will help me to return and live with my family and Heavenly Father and Jesus, forever. Living by the teachings of my church has made me very happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my hardest to treat others the way that Christ would treat them if he were here. At our church I teach the children from ages three to eleven the primary songs. I try to teach them how to be more like Jesus so they can be happy. I try to reach out to others and make sure they are alright.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Joanie
Both husband and wife have important and equal responsibilities in a family. There should be mutual respect and consideration between all members in a family and parents should show their children how to do this by example. We believe that Husbands and wives should have children and teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ to the best of their ability. Our church teaches that the husbands' primary responsibility is to provide for the family and the wife's is to nurture their children. We believe that God will bless families as they try to follow his pattern for happiness. Show more Show less
