Hi I'm Sammy

I've played piano for 14 years. I've survived a severe car accident unharmed, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I've been playing piano ever since I was 5 years old. I love music, and find it very inspiring. My favorite composer is Aram Khatchaturian, who I'm sure none of you have heard of, and my second favorite composer is either Chopin or Melody Bober. I can't decide... I really like computers and video games. When I was little I really wanted to program computers. But as I got older, I realized just how hard that is to do... So I decided to design video games instead. To me, video games are more than just a fun way to pass the time. I believe that video games could change the world if given the chance. When I was young, my parents divorced. I lived with my dad for some time and then he remarried. When I was only about five, I was in a car accident. My step-mother, grandmother, and grandfather all died, and I was the only one to come out alive. Looking back on this experience, it has really helped me to understand things that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. Even though I lost my family members in that accident, I know that they are still alive beyond the veil. And I know that God has a plan for each of us. I was meant to survive that day. God knows what we are here to do and it's our job to fulfill his vision for us. My name is Elder Dixon, I'm a gamer, a pianist, a missionary, and a survivor of a car accident. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always grown up in the church. Through the years I've come to see that this really is the true gospel of Christ restored to the Earth through Joseph Smith. I know that if we ask through prayer, answers will be given, and I wouldn't give up that blessing for anything.

How I live my faith

Living my faith right now is serving a mission in Sapporo Japan. I'm showing my faith everyday by trying my hardest to bring everyone closer to Christ.
