Hi I'm Janice

I have three sisters, five children and six grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Janice and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. You may call me a Mormon for that is the term that we have been tagged with. By the world’s standards, I haven’t any great observable talents nor accomplishments. I am just an average person, except, I know that I am a daughter of God. After that, I am foremost a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. I love my family and friends and I enjoy spending time with each of them and serving them whenever possible. I love to travel, read, and be outdoors. I feel rich beyond measure in the things that matter most.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. I am a convert and believe the teachings of this church. I love the Lord. Being an active Mormon encourages and helps me to live the kind of life that the Lord wants for me, and that will bring me the most joy both here in this life and in the one to come. It also helps me through the hard times and brings me peace. I know that Jesus Christ died for me and I want to show my love for him by becoming more like him, by developing his image in my countenance.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to obey the commandments, loving my fellow man, and serving others. I study the scriptures and make an effort to incorporate their teachings into my own life. I endeavor not to judge others and to remember that kindness begins with me. I also live my faith by sharing it with others when it is appropriate. I live my faith by having a positive attitude in an effort to have a perfect brightness of hope.
