Hi I'm Diana

Art is my passion, life is my classroom, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Art has always been a part of my life. It has taught me so much. I am constantly taking pictures of life around me. Imagining how I would either draw or sculpt the life I see around me. I love being outdoors whether on a hike or simply enjoying all the great views that here are on this earth. Learning is amazing! I love to learn and to constantly grow in my understanding. At this time I am serving my Heavenly Father as a missionary. Teaching others of how they may have such an amazing Joy in the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up always knowing that God was there. Of the Love that he has for each of us. It was such a blessing to be born into this church to know these things from childhood. But as all people there of course came a time where I doubted. I doubted what I had been raised with. Did not want to follow the example my Parents and the Saviour had set. So I was lost and confused, I was following the world. And Then I remember just feeling the distinct impression to Pray. To Pray about what I already knew but was ignoring. To Know if this Church was true. I had prayed about it as a child and knew with out a doubt that this is God's true church. At the time I was ignoring it. but with that Prayer it all came back. I received that new witness that this is Gods church. Since then I have received witness after witness. And each and every day as I pray and read the scriptures, I know that I will forever follow my Saviour, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live it! I live what I have learned, I act and I listen to what God wants me to do. I live and follow the example that Christ has set. My Faith is a part of me! So I do what I know to be right and help others as I can. And I learn everyday by reading the scriptures what God wants of me, and then I act on what I learn.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

We believe in following the example of Christ. Giving of our time and talents in pure service. We serve one another in any way we can. At times that is serving in a leadership position in the Church and helping those of our congregation as a clergy would, but out of service and love for our fellow members and followers of Christ.
