Hi I'm Anthony

I'm an athlete, I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was a kid my father raised my sisters and me with the Muslim culture. We followed dietary laws and celebrated some of the holidays. When I was 11 I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with my sisters. We didn't attend church much when we were growing up, but I found the church again as a teenager in high school. I served a mission for the church in Washington D.C. and am now a student and I trim trees. I love to be active, especially outdoors. If it's a sport, I'll play it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the principles I've been taught are true. Living the gospel makes me happy. When I came back to church I immediately noticed the difference. All of the little problems didn't seem to matter anymore. I was able to be more passive, free of stress, and not as angry. As a member of the church, I can be with my family forever. The relationships I make in this life are the most important thing to me, and I can carry those into the next life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to be an example to those around me. I apply the principles I've learned in the scriptures and church to my life so I can uplift the people around me. I do the basics. I do my best to read the scriptures and pray everyday. I try and make it to church every week and attend the temple monthly.
