Hi I'm Crystal

I've lived in many places. I've been a Mormon since Aug. 2004. I am now a missionary on the Bakersfield, California Mission.

About Me

I was born in Okinawa, Japan. I have gone to college to be a chef(cook). I have two sisters and one brother. I like to draw, paint, read, and cook. My favorite sport is soccer. I like to travel and my favorite countries are Japan and Tonga. ^O^ My sisters, Mom, and I were baptized on the same day. My Dad joined a few months later and my brother wasn't old enough at the time but has been baptized when he turned 8. I am now a missionary on the Bakersfield California Mission, since Sept. 4, 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom, siblings, and I were Catholic and my dad was Pentecostal gone Atheist. I joined the church after my grandma invited my mom to take us to a LDS Easter party. Then the missionaries came and talked to us and a few months later i was part of the church. I was told by my mom that one of the reasons we joined was she had gotten her answer that it was true, but was waiting for a sign that we all should be baptized and then my siblings and I asked to be baptized. ^.^

How I live my faith

I am serving on a mission to Bakersfield California.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Crystal
We don't worship Joseph Smith. He is a prophet and a man of god but the only ones we worship are God our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our older brother. Joseph was only able to restore the true gospel to the earth with the help of God and Jesus. Show more Show less
