Hi I'm Andrea

I grew up in the mountains, but love and live by the ocean. I have four children, and five step-children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 4 awesome children, two boys and two girls. I have recently re-married to a wonderful, kind, loving man who has a strong testimony and a beautiful soul. He has five beautiful children and one fun, cute grandson. To learn and to strive to be better is a lifelong goal. I know that it will take a life time to learn. My family and all my children are very important to me. I enjoy learning and getting to know my children as they grow and develop into the fabulous people that they are.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family but my own conversion came quietly over time as I developed my own family, starting with the birth of my first son. Each of my children have increased my faith and helped me to develop my testimony further. I have also developed my testimony by having faith in my Heavenly Father and and my Savior and partaking of His atonement. I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father is real. I believe that He talks to a living prophet today to help us and guide us because He loves us and wants us to return to live with Him one day. I believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and because he loves us, he was willing to give his life to pay for my debt, so that I can see my Heavenly Father again and live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I have had many struggles in my life. I have wandered in my own wilderness trying to find that promise land. But throughout my struggles and my wandering, I have looked to my Heavenly Father for love and guidance. I know without any doubt that He loves me and will help us if we only just ask. I am truly blessed to have the gospel in my life. I make going to church every week a high priority, so I can feel the peace that partaking of the sacrament and feeling of the Spirit can help me to hold on and survive the next week. I know that bringing in the light of Christ in our lives on a daily basis can help us to go through those days when we feel the darkness closing in. Partaking in the blessings of the temple are also a way that I live my faith, because I receive that peace that I need to live through the trials that come my way. At the temple I can feel my Heavenly Fathers love for me without all of the background noise of a busy life.
