Hi I'm Chels!

I am a nursing student. I love to sing and dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of eight children and I absolutely love my family. I learn so much from them everyday. I am currently going to school to hopefully become a Nurse and I hope to use this career to travel around the world, working in different hospitals in as many countries as I can. When I am not doing homework (which is almost always), I love to hang out with friends, travel, watch movies, sing and dance. I love being around little children and had the wonderful privilege of being a nanny my senior year in high school. Someday, I hope to raise a family of my own with a wonderful husband who I will have the privilege of being with for the rest of eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church provides all the answers to any questions that I may have. It is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ that I have been able to realize my divine potential to be so much more than I have become. It is because of this church that I have come to know with all of my heart that I am Daughter of God and that He knows me by name and loves me no matter what I do. He has sent me here to earth so that I could receive a body like him and if I proved faithful, to become a god like him someday. He has allowed me to be with my family forever through the blessings of the holy temples. I do not know who I would be without this gospel; it has made me into the person that I am today. Its such a blessing to know who I am, where I am going, why I am here, what happens to my loved ones after they die, and that I can be forgiven through the Atonement of Jesus Christ-my older brother and Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the example of Christ, my Savior, in all that I do. Although I am not even close to being perfect, I strive daily to keep the commandments of the Lord and to love and help those around me in anyway that I can. I show my faith by respecting myself in the way I dress, the music I listen to, the way I speak and by the way I treat others. I know that if I try my best each and everyday, that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will make up for all I lack and help me become the person that I want to be.
