Hi I'm Gabe

I am a brother of four younger sisters and I could eat Mexican food everyday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of one daughter. I have lived in Southern California most of my life and was raised by a mother and father who taught me correct principles and values both through their words and actions. I have worked for a large financial services company for the past fourteen years after graduating from law school in 1997. As a family we have had the blessing of traveling to a variety of different places and hope to continue to do so in the future. I also enjoy playing and watching many different sports, especially tennis and golf. At BYU, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to play on the tennis team. I appreciate many different types of music (especially 80's) and enjoy going to concerts.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness it brings both to me and my family. I was introduced to the Mormon church as a young boy but did not become a member of the church until I was in college. As a college student living on my own I realized that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ provided me a roadmap for joy and peace. I am by no means perfect but I know that when I am doing my very best to the live the teachings of my brother, Jesus Christ, I feel tremendous comfort and I am a better husband, father, son, brother and friend as a result. Christ taught us through example to love and serve others. I believe that to be a true principle and try to live that each day.

How I live my faith

I believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. We can never do enough to make up for our imperfections but the sacrifice of our Savior along with our faith in Him gives us the opportunity to live with Him again after our time on Earth. I believe we show our faith in God through our actions. We spend time as a family thinking about the needs of individuals we are associated with and try to be of service to them. It gives us joy when we are able to make a difference. I have had the opportunity to work with the youth in our church for many years. Their devotion to God is an example to me and inspires me to be a better example to them and others. In addition to Sundays, we get together on a weekly basis to try and help others as well as build each other up spiritually.
